Ocean Wise Youth

Ocean Wise Youth programs empower young people with life and work skills, supporting lasting civic engagement essential for our oceans to remain healthy and flourishing for generations to come.

Eco-Action Accelerator

A 16-week microgrant program that provides Canada Service Corps (CSC) alumni with the tools to scale up a pre-existing service project and produce expansion plans that focus on the long-term sustainability of the project.

Ocean Action Grant

A microgrant program that provides 150 youth across Canada with funding to lead an individual or collaborative 3-month project that contributes to positive change for the environment.

Which program is right for you?

Youth leaders from urban and rural communities coached through the co-creation of service opportunities related to ocean health and ocean literacy

Ocean Bridge, Ocean Pathways and Youth to Sea ambassadors have engaged over 100,000 children, youths, and adults in ocean health and literacy activities.

To date, youth leaders have completed over 220,000 service hours in the name of ocean conservation

Ocean Wise Youth ambassadors and alumni have been awarded over 170 Youth Ocean Action Grants in support of their service projects
